26 hours of manual work, automated in 8
We put underused Microsoft licences to work: Power Automate, Power BI and Power Apps were integrated into existing workflows, and employees were trained to run and extend them. Process automation, data architecture and workforce enablement, delivered in six weeks.
26 hrs
of manual work eliminated by an automation built in 8 hours
150 hrs
saved every year through automated compliance reporting
The background
The organisation had invested in Microsoft technology, but much of its capability sat unused. Important processes still relied on repetitive manual work, which slowed operations and introduced errors, and employees lacked the training to optimise their own workflows or confidently adopt new digital processes.
What we did
We took a three-part approach: strategic collaboration with key stakeholders to find where automation and better data management would have the greatest impact; integrating Power Automate, Power BI and Power Apps into the existing technology environment rather than introducing new platforms; and practical training programmes in process automation and data analysis so teams could sustain the improvements themselves.
The outcome
- Automated payment information statement extraction saved 26 hours of manual work after only 8 hours of implementation.
- Automated compliance reporting delivered an estimated saving of 150 hours per year.
- Reduced dependence on repetitive manual processes and the risk of human error.
- Better use of existing Microsoft licences, with no new platforms or infrastructure.
- Stronger employee capability and confidence, and a foundation for future automation.
